Puseletso Mbele - chief Executive officer

Puseletso is a highly skilled Investment Consultant with over 19 years investment experience consulting to institutional clients throughout Southern Africa. She possesses deep expertise across Multi Manager Investments, Strategic and Tactical Asset Allocation, Research, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Impact investing and ESG. Currently, Puseletso is based in Johannesburg and holds the position of CEO of Moruo Private Markets, a subsidiary of Moravia Capital Management based in Munich Germany.

After beginning her investment career in 2005 with FNB as a Foreign Exchange Consultant, Puseletso was appointed to Noah Financial Innovation, a niche stock broking and financial services company based in Sandton, in a Research Sales position. In 2010, Puseletso joined Investec Asset Management where she spent four years gaining valuable exposure to offshore and domestic unit trusts and expanding her knowledge of the investment industry. After a brief stint at Sasfin Securities as a Portfolio Management Assistant, in 2014 Puseletso was appointed as a Client Services Manager with Riscura, an investment advisory and management firm with offices across Africa, the UK and China.

In October 2015 Puseletso joined Novare, an investment solutions provider with operations across the African continent, as a Fund Manager consulting to four institutional clients with a book value of R80 billion and in January 2019, she was appointed as the Head of Investment Consulting. In this leadership role, Puseletso consulted to eight institutional clients with a book value of R130 billion, responsible for overall client fund management and client relations. Her time with Novare provided her with an invaluable opportunity to expand and hone her investment management capabilities and to position her as one of South Africa’s leading investment consultants. In November 2022, sharing the vision and ambition with Jacky Mathekga, Puseletso co-founded Moruo Private Markets and was appointed CEO.
